When we buy #1 Copper or Aluminum Extrusions, we are extremely conscious of anything that will compromise the quality of these items. #1 Copper Specifications at the foundry are very strict, as are the specifications for Aluminum Extrusions. #1 Copper can have no solder, lead, tin, silver, brass, excessive dirt or oil. Aluminum Extrusions can only be 6061 or 6063 Aluminum with no zinc or steel attachments. Not just 99% clean, but 100% clean.
